It's not really news of any note that Bill Murray will be starring in Wes Anderson's forthcoming, as-yet-untitled new film; it is, however, news that Murray revealed a little more about the film itself - namely, that's it'll be the second of Anderson's foray into animation.

Speaking at a press conference over the weekend, the actor said: "... I'm playing a dog. He's doing another, like a stop motion animated kind of comedy sort of like 'Fantastic Mr. Fox'."

He added: "And it's a Japanese story and I'm playing a dog. I'm very excited."

Murray will be joining already confirmed cast members Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Jeff Goldblum, and Bob Balaban.

Bill Murray's Christmas special appeared on Netflix recently. Have you watched it yet?
