After reading a newspaper article about a group of immensely dedicated Beyoncé superfans setting up camp outside a venue down the road from his residence in Sao Paulo, director Paulo Cesar Toledo decided to take some cameras down to the scene and find out more about these endearing yet obsessive individuals.

A majority of campers speak about the positive influence that the iconic pop diva has had in their lives from using her image and music as a particularly glamorous escape from their daily routine in the violent city.

Despite not really knowing anything about the artist prior to filming, Toledo learns a thing or two as he documents the self-made community whilst giving us a snapshot into the heart of this predominantly queer fandom.
