Harvey Weinstein has officially been fired from the Weinstein Company just days after a New York Times exposé detailed a laundry list of sexual harassment complaints against him that he allegedly paid off for years.

The Weinstein Company detailed half of its namesake's firing in a press release, a snippet of which is here: “In light of new information about misconduct by Harvey Weinstein that has emerged in the past few days, the directors of The Weinstein Company – Robert Weinstein, Lance Maerov, Richard Koenigsberg and Tarak Ben Ammar – have determined, and have informed Harvey Weinstein, that his employment with The Weinstein Company is terminated, effective immediately.”

Three other board members from the Weinstein Company also resigned amidst the uproar – as did Weinstein's legal advisor, Lisa Bloom.
