A24 has been making quite the splash in the horror world ever since their latest flick Hereditary scared the hell out of audiences at its Sundance premiere. Successive trailers have, since then, been keeping horror fans delighted and prompting critics to even call the film "this generation's The Exorcist".

That all being said, families in Perth Australia fled the showings of Peter Rabbit they attended with their children late last week when the theatre accidentally showed the trailer for Hereditary. One theatre-going mother, Jane, told the Sydney Morning Herald: "It was dreadful. Very quickly you could tell this was not a kid's film. Parents were yelling at the projectionist to stop, covering their kids' eyes and ears."

This prompted A24 to release this Tweet:

An absolutely epic response and brilliant horror marketing to boot.

A24 has also just released the latest teaser for Hereditary. This one largely highlights Toni Collette's performance, doing something the studio doesn't often do: position one of their film's players for awards' season this early.

Enjoy the first two trailers and the latest teaser for Hereditary below and catch it June 8 in theatres.
