We're finally here, in the year of the Twin Peaks revival. Showtime promised that David Lynch's cult classic series would return sometime this year, along with its notable characters Audrey Horne and Agent Cooper. But no premiere date was ever confirmed.

Now, it looks like we may have a sense that the show will air in May, as a promotional calendar from the network, that was sent out to cable companies, shows the series promoted by the looming spring month. Showtime's Homeland ends its new season at the end of April, which also gives the series its perfect slot.

The new Twin Peaks series will also feature Shelly Johnson (Madchen Amick), Michael Horse (Deputy Hawk), Bobby Briggs (Dana Ashbrook), Deputy Andy Brennan (Harry Goaz), James Hurley (James Marshall), David Duchovny (Denise/Dennis Bryson) and Doctor Jacoby (Russ Tamblyn).
