Last year, Janelle Monáe decided to flex her acting chops and wound up in two of 2016's biggest movies, Moonlight and Hidden Figures. Now, the multi-talented artist has nabbed a new role and she'll star opposite Steve Carell in a brand new drama.

The movie is based on the story of Mark Hogencamp, who built a miniature town in his backyard after recording from a coma. It's directed by Robert Zemeckis, who is responsible for films like Cast Away and Forrest Gump.
