Recent cinema has been hugely the era of Stephen King. 2017's It largely sealed that deal, but lest we forget Netflix’s 1922 and Gerald’s Game and also others like Castle Rock via Hulu (we shouldn't, all that we've been able to see thus far were well done), and now It: Chapter 2, coming in 2019.

The Hollywood Reporter is saying that Jason Clarke is now circling a role in a reboot of King's Pet Sematary, first put into cinematic form in 1989. Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer (the minds behind 2014's Starry Eyes) are helming the project which is still in a very early stage of development.

Clarke will reportedly play the doctor in the re-imagining. This was Dale Midkiff's character in the 1989 original. Stay with The 405 for more on this as we hear it.
