TV, politics and life in general, hasn't been the same since Jon Stewart left the Daily Show. But the late night's voice of reason has decided to return to the TV schedule with an animated HBO this fall.

"He is establishing an animated studio," HBO programming chief Casey Bloys. "He wants to get material out on a daily basis. The idea is that it’s an animated parody of a cable news network in an Onion-like portal. It will be his voice, in his actual voice, and his tone." Bloys also referred to it as "Onion-like."
