It appears that Jordan Peele is going to keep developing social thrillers after the success of Get Out – his new project looks just as exciting.

The Hunt is based on a true story of 1970s Nazi hunters on a quest for retribution, the most infamous group probably being the Nakam, Hebrew for “avengers”. It is the first series to come out of Peele's Monkeypaw Productions first-look TV deal with the independent studio Sonar Entertainment.

No network is yet attached to the project, but The Hollywood Reporter notes that post-Charlottesville, “the project is already drawing interest from several potential bidders”.

Not much else is known about this brief synopsis:

The Hunt follows a diverse band of Nazi Hunters in 1970s America as they set out on a quest for revenge and justice — tracking and killing hundreds of Nazis who, with the unconscionable help of the U.S. government, escaped justice and embedded themselves in American society.”

Expect more from The 405 on this as it develops.
