Atlanta’s Stephen Glover and Jamal Olori are the scribes on a new reboot of House Party – a comedy from 1990 that spawned a ’91 and ’94 sequel.

LeBron James and Maverick Carter – his Springhill Entertainment partner – are producing. James told The Hollywood Reporter, "This is definitely not a reboot. It's an entirely new look for a classic movie."

Fans can expect a top-notch soundtrack as well, with Drake – a good friend of LeBron James – a distinct possibility as a contributing artist, with Carter adding, "We're trying out some ideas for musicians to be cast in and to be a part of the project."

After James's critically praised performance in Trainwreck, there is also a possibility he will make a cameo. Carter elaborates, "There's no plan for it now, but he's a fantastic actor, and if he wants a role, Stephen will find a great role to put him in."

No release date on the reboot has been reported yet.
