If you were looking forward to Martin Scorsese's forthcoming Frank Sinatra biopic, we have very bad news. The legendary filmmaker has officially abandoned the project, as he says the late singer's family just won't agree to it.

"We can’t do it!" Scorsese told The Toronto Sun. "I think it is finally over. They (remaining members of the Sinatra clan) won't agree to it. Open it up again and I'm there!"

He's been wanting to make the film since 2009 and since then, Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Michael Chabon joined on to help with the script. "The problem is that the man was so complex. Everybody is so complex — but Sinatra in particular," he said. Hopefully, they'll come around.
