Netflix appears to be following in NBC's footsteps.

The streaming giant is working on an anthology series with country music legend Dolly Parton. Like NBC's 2015 project with her, Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors, each of the eight episodes will focus on one of the legendary country diva’s songs. Parton will both executive produce and star in the show. The project is untitled as of now and – like Coat of Many Colors – is being produced by Warner Bros.

Parton said in a statement, "I am thrilled to be bringing some of my favorite songs to life with Netflix. We hope our show will inspire and entertain families and folks of all generations, and I want to thank the good folks at Netflix and Warner Bros. TV for their incredible support."
