Nils Frahm and Woodkid are set to release a new mini-album inspired by the current refugee crisis, with proceeds going to Sea Watch. They've enlisted Robert De Niro to offer spoken word on the forthcoming project Ellis, which is out on Erased Tapes on July 8. The album will coincide with a short film starring De Niro as an immigrant venturing through New York's Ellis Island hospital. Watch the trailer for the film and listen to a teaser of the album below.

"Robert says it all in 17 minutes," Frahm said. "We are not facing a refugee crisis. We are facing a crisis because we do not embrace, we do not sympathise and we cannot give up fear. Art can encourage so I hope this project will help fight the fear in all of us."
