After a successful appearance on David Letterman's new Netflix talk show, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle are reportedly now in talks to produce content for the streaming giant. This would be the Obamas' first big move after moving out of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

This type of move is also unprecedented in media – as most former presidents go on to do things like book deals and speech tours only.

The content being floated is said by the New York Times to focus on stories of inspiring Americans – not being anchored as a direct rebuttal to President Donald Trump or his policies.

Not much else is known about the deal right now – not even its price tag, though the deal with Ryan Murphy was said to be around $300 million – so, stay with The 405 for more on this as we hear it.
