After the positively booming theatrical success of Straight Outta Compton, it was immediately speculated that this wouldn't be the last rap biopic from the work of producer and writer S. Leigh Savidge. Now, The Hollywood Reporter has discovered that Savidge is indeed pitching their next prospective hopeful project, Welcome To Death Row - based on the non-fiction book of the same name.

The Seattle-born writer's new project would focus on the life and careers of the musicians and figures of the famed West coast label Death Row in the 1990s, including Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Warren G., and Kurupt, as well as label mainstay Suge Knight. The process is in its very early stages, but considering the amazing financial success of Straight Outta Compton, it isn't a stretch to believe this work would have legs soon.
