Tarantino's Pulp Fiction-esque tale of late '60s and early '70s Hollywood (including Charles Manson and the Tate Murders), Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, is building the anticipation for its July 26, 2019 US release date and August 9, 2019 UK release date. August 9, 2019 is the actual 50th anniversary of the Tate Murders, and was the original US release date – insiders claimed the release date was moved up by two weeks not because of the anniversary but because a July 26 date gives the film more "summer playtime."

Shifting dates aside, Margot Robbie shared a first-look still from the film, in her role as Sharon Tate.

Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio shared a still about a month ago from the film. DiCaprio plays a fading western star Rick Dalton in the transitioning Hollywood, and Pitt his stuntman.
