We at The 405 are firm believers in making life a bit more fun wherever possible. Towards that end, if you're looking to bet on the upcoming Academy Awards, it's important to know your stuff. We checked Sports Betting Dime for some pre-nomination odds and predictions.

A Star is Born is the odds-on favorite for Best Picture (the original from 1937 also scored 7 nominations, including Best Picture – the 1954 and 1976 versions did not) so far but there are others making a push. If you're looking to make this year's Oscars a little more interesting, SBD covers betting and appears to be updating the odds in the major categories regularly.
