It’s been quite the year for the quintessential brand of terror that is Stephen King. Fans have been privy to Mr. Mercedes and The Mist via television, The Dark Tower and IT via theaters, 1922 hitting the festival circuit very soon, and Netflix also adopting Castle Rock as a series very soon.

Netflix has another treat in store for the King fan: a forthcoming adaptation of King's 1992 piece of psychological horror about a husband and wife's intimate weekend at a wooded bed and breakfast that goes horribly wrong, Gerald's Game. The Netflix adaptation stars Carla Gugino and Bruce Greenwood with direction from Mike Flanagan.

Gerald's Game is slated for worldwide release September 29. See the trailer below, and stay tuned to The 405 for a review.
