From one bad boy to another, it sounds fitting that Shia LaBeouf has been cast to star as former tennis rebel John McEnroe in a forthcoming biopic. The film, titled Borg/McEnroe, will be directed by Janus Metz and follows the intense rivalry between the tennis star and his Swedish enemy Bjorn Borg, between the 1970s-80s.

Sverrir Gudnason will star as Borg, while Stellan Skarsgard has been tapped to play Borg's coach, Lennart Bergelin. Borg/McEnroe is expected to begin filming this fall, and scheduled to hit theaters in 2017.
