Matt Groening, the celebrated architect of two of television's most loved animated series of all-time - The Simpsons and Futurama - is said to be in talks with Netflix for what would be his third official animated show. Details of the project, name unknown, are very tight currently.

The Hollywood Reporter was the first to grab the rumors, reporting that the show is possibly set for two seasons at first spanning 10 episodes a piece. The introduction of Groening's newest project, his first new show since introducing Futurama in 1999, will be the third animated series courtesy of Netflix original programming following the success of Bojack Horseman and the recently released F Is For Family.

Just last night the streaming service announced a bevy of exciting news, including the spring returns of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Orange Is The New Black.
