Aside from the promotional tour for his recently released film Chi-Raq and worshiping at the Church Of Kristaps Porzingis, director Spike Lee has announced plans to release his brand new and previously unheard of Michael Jackson documentary at next month's Sundance Film Festival in Utah.

Michael Jackson's Journey from Motown to 'Off the Wall', the film synopsis reads: "Catapulted by the success of his first major solo project, Off the Wall, Michael Jackson went from child star to King of Pop. This film explores the seminal album, with rare archival footage and interviews from those who were there and those whose lives its success and legacy impacted."

Indiewire reports that Lee filmed the documentary earlier this year while he was promoting his previous film Da Sweet Blood of Jesus. Other details are not currently available.
