The Academy revealed their list of 2016 Oscar nominations this morning, with Leonardo DiCaprio, The Revenant, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Weeknd and Straight Outta Compton among many of the leading nominees.

Leo has a chance to finally win his first Academy Award for his enduring role in The Revenant, which earned him a nomination for Best Actor, while Straight Outta Compton is up for Best Original Screenplay. Incredible music docs Amy and What Happened, Miss Simone? are up for Best Documentary Feature Film, while The Weeknd could nab an Oscar for Best Original Song with 'Earned It.'

This year’s 88th annual awards are set for February 28th at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California and will be hosted by Chris Rock.
