Set in the mountains of Utah, Sundance Film Festival has become more than just a film festival for some filmmakers. Instead, it's a deadline. A deadline that can give new filmmakers the chance to have their films seen by some of the most influential directors and studios. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity for some, however, our very own Siân Melton returned to Park City for the 8th time so we celebrate this with a one-off podcast special.

After watching 22 films, drinking 3 milkshakes and eating only 1 waffle, Siân returned with a mind full of film knowledge and an idea that 'she knows' what's going to be in big in 2017. So much so, that she was invited to join Hoxton Movies to run down her top films of the festival. Not bad, not bad at all for a Canadian.

In this special, Siân only has time to list 4 of her top 10 films from the festival so to help with that, we've listed them out below, whilst also being allowed to give you the nod aka a link to Siân's Letterboxd account.
