After selling to Amazon at Sundance in a whopping $13 million deal, the Mindy Kaling-written feature Late Night now has its first trailer.

In it, Emma Thompson plays a veteran talk show host who fears her show may be getting a bit stale. She hires a female writer (Kaling) to help recover the show's spark, and for Kaling's character, this means diving in the deep end of a very patriarchal world.

While Kaling wrote Late Night, Nisha Ganatra directs. Ganatra has built quite a reputation as a prolific TV director with episodes of shows like Mr. Robot, Shameless, Dear White People, The Mindy Project, Girls, and others under her belt.

Late Night also has a pretty damn impressive ensemble cast that includes Amy Ryan, Reid Scott, Hugh Dancy, Max Casella, John Early, Denis O'Hare, Ike Barinholtz, and John Lithgow among others.

Catch Late Night in theaters June 7 and enjoy the trailer below.
