The Blue Velvet soundtrack is apparently being released on vinyl. Getting an official LP release both in Germany and Japan (according to Discogs), the soundtrack to David Lynch's classic will, if this listing on Amazon is anything to go by, get a vinyl release across the world later this year on 20th November via Varèse Sarabande, reports Modern Vinyl.

It was composed by Angelo Badalamenti, who also took care of the soundtrack for Twin Peaks – itself re-released last year – as well as other David Lynch films. It's noted for its beautiful, not to mention dark and scary, sound, helping to create the timeless, neo-noir atmosphere of the film.
