Tarantino’s sordid tale of violence and change in late '60s Hollywood, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, is filling out even more.

Deadline is reporting that Timothy Olyphant (Justified) is angling for a lead role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Burt Reynolds, Michael Madsen, Kurt Russell and Tim Roth.

Details as to who Olyphant would play are unclear right now. Initially, any arrangement would've been impossible with him because of scheduling issues around his show The Santa Clarita Diet. Those issues have apparently been overcome, however, and the actor is in talks with Tarantino.

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will be released on August 9, 2019 – the 50th anniversary of the brutal Tate Murders by the Manson Family, an event the film will at least touch on.
