Since its premiere at the Toronto Film Festival in 2015, Tom Geens' Couple in a Hole has been slowly garnering a reputation as one of the most intriguingly odd films to come out of Britain for quite some time. Starring Kate Dickie (Game of Thrones) and Paul Higgins (Utopia), the Pyrenees set drama tells the story of a Scottish couple who abandon city life to return to their instinctual, atavistic roots in the forest. Gradually, the shrubbery clears to reveal the plaintive motives behind their decision.

Ahead of its official release this Friday, the 405 has been granted an exclusive preview scored by the gorgeous soundscapes of BEAK>. Speaking of the collaboration, Portishead founder Geoff Barrow said: "It was a total pleasure to work with Tom on his film and it's also been great to have so many people support a film that is as unusual and uncompromising as this."

We'll be chatting to Kate Dickie this week, so keep your eyes peeled for the feature.
