Christian Bale is an actor known for his dramatic physical transformations. For the trippy 2004 Hitchcockian thriller The Machinist (a fantastic film I highly recommend if you haven't seen it), Bale crash dieted to drop 60 pounds for his portrayal of the disturbed insomniac Trevor Reznik. Bale gained nearly 100 pounds after The Machinist for his role in 2005's Batman Begins.
