Yes indeed, Mark Hamill, the man most famous for bringing Luke Skywalker to life in the Star Wars franchise will be voicing the most demented doll in the history of film: Chucky, in the up-coming Child's Play reboot from Orion Pictures and KatzSmith Productions.

The reboot hits theaters 31 years after the original Child’s Play. With Hamill, the new Child’s Play stars Aubrey Plaza, Brian Tyree Henry, and Gabriel Bateman. Lars Klevberg (2015's Polaroid) directs from a script by Tyler Burton Smith – featuring characters created by Don Mancini.

Brad Dourif (One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, David Lynch's Dune, The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers) voiced the original Chucky. It spawned a franchise with 7 movies.
