A24 is a production and distribution company which has consistently delivered superior cinema since its inception in 2012. Their titles have included Lady Bird, First Reformed, Hereditary, Moonlight, The Hole in the Ground, and Room to name but a few.

Their newest – The Last Black Man in San Francisco – appears to be another addition to that list. The film shook up Sundance where director Joe Talbot won two awards: the Directing award – Dramatic and the U.S. Dramatic Special Jury Award – Creative Collaboration.

In The Last Black Man in San Francisco, a young man (Jimmie Fails, also a writer on the film) searches for home in the changing city that seems to have left him behind. Jonathan Majors, Mike Epps, Rob Morgan, Tichina Arnold and Danny Glover also star.
