Last spring, we got our first look at then 16-year-old Yorkshire singer-songwriter Billie Marten, who had already begun assembling a nervously positive list of fans thanks to her video 'Milk & Honey'. The now 17-year-old singer has returned with her newest video and official details of her debut album Writing of Blues And Yellows, due out September 23rd on Chess Club Records/RCA.

The gentle, fluttering single 'Lionhearted' aches like a Feist B-side, which is more praise than most people get in a lifetime - never mind a teenager. The video itself came together with the help of director Allie Avital, whose previous work includes videos for Chairlift, Yumi Zouma, and Mutual Benefit. Avital sparses the short film with a deceptively wide color pallatte, stirring focus within the illuminating track.
