It's not every day we here at the 405 get sent an exclusive country-rock track from the deep south. Even rarer is when the deep south we referred to is in fact Devon.

It took us a while to believe it, but Cosmo Jarvis (famously the creator of 'Gay Pirates') has released a track that sounds like it could have come straight out of the Bible belt. 'Sunshine' is so country that it has a chorus complimented by a choir of gruff voices all with a classic banjo backing. We also note the oddity that this track, containing the line "I'm so sick of the sunshine, tell me when the storm come in," would be released now.

Maybe he's taken the hosepipe ban to heart?

Cosmo Jarvis releases his new album, Think Bigger, on July 9th.
