Andrew Garfield caught our eye as he jetted round the world promoting his new film ‘The Amazing Spiderman’. His gal Emma Stone looked beautiful as always but it was Andrew who deserves some much needed style points. Embracing the boy next door look, he also shows he can look just as good in a Gucci suit on the red carpet.

Andrew’s style when he is ‘off duty’ is casual and laid back, including key pieces for any boys’ wardrobe; skinny jeans, converse and a bomber jacket with some plaid shirts and vintage t-shirts are thrown in to keep it preppy.

It’s when Andrew is on the red carpet that he experiments a little more with his style; boys you should take note! From wearing navy blue Tom Ford to beige and even a bright red Balenciaga suit, Andrew is not afraid of colour and we think this is refreshing in a man. As good as a black suit is, sometimes it’s nice to spice things up a little, definitely one to look at when suit shopping. No need to be too vibrant in your suit choice, there are choices out there on the darker edge of the spectrum and if you are colour shy, just incorporate one piece into your winter wardrobe with a jacket or some trousers.

We’ve raided ASOS to achieve Andrew’s signature look, which should be the go-to for all boys when it comes to shopping.

A denim jacket is key for any wardrobe. Head to your local vintage store or for something a little more modern, this jacket fits the bill

You aren’t preppy until you have an American-style bomber jacket

Invest in a tailored jacket, like this velvet red one from ASOS.

Move away from black for your next suit, deep berry isn’t too bright but looks great.
