One of Britain’s greatest fashion designers, known for her outrageous pieces and outspoken personality, Dame Vivienne Westwood, debuted her Red Label Autumn-Winter 2012/13 Britain-inspired collection in February. It may have just been another magnificent show, featuring the designer’s trademark tartan, laced with lashings of taffeta and creations that make you double-take in awe, but this fashion show was different; this show had a purpose.

The show was in support of the Environmental Justice Foundation’s (EJF) “No Place Like Home” Campaign for climate refugees – those who have been driven out of their homes due to the effects of climate change. Dame Westwood has designed t-shirts especially for the campaign in order to raise awareness, modeled by celebrities such as Naomi Campbell. You can feel guilt free about your t-shirt purchase too, as 100% of the proceeds go toward the “No Place Like Home” campaign.
