David Cage’s studio, Quantic Dream, released a statement through their game director and co-CEO Guillaume de Fondaumière saying that they have begun hiring screenwriters, film directors and other Hollywood talent to help guide David Cage in his vision for creating projects for next-gen consoles such as the PS4:

"David has so many ideas that Quantic Dream doesn’t have enough resources to put all of these ideas into games," Fondaumière said. "He has grand ideas and concepts. Our job is to turn these ideas into projects. So we are trying to attract talent."

Quantic Dreams is supposedly at this moment working on a new title for PS4 that will utilise three writers, including David Cage.

"Three people is not a lot when you are writing a script between 1,500 and 3,000 pages long [...] For now, Beyond is entirely written by David but on our next project we’ll have a team around him that is already giving very positive signs."

David Cage’s Heavy Rain was a pretty hefty game in terms of script. It’s not every day that a interactive “movie-like” experience is transposed into a gaming medium and, as you can imagine, what seems like a 10+ hour movie can probably flesh out into a massive script – However past critique has cited that David Cage may need to mature his writing style for his verbose style of games.

Naturally, David Cage has anted up his efforts with his latest release Beyond: Two Souls that stars Hollywood alumni such as Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe. To this extent, it seems that David Cage has finally attracted the attention of Hollywood industry talent who will possibly be working more intimately with him on future projects.
