It has officially been confirmed that there will be a sequel to the 1989 NES classic, River City Ransom.

Combit Studios will be developing the new sequel and, according to their website, they'll be working along side Million, the developers behind the Game Boy Advance remake. They are also planning to crowd fund the game this Summer.

A release date and platform has been released (pretty ballsy at this stage), so if you're looking forward to beating up some more guys on the street and eating egg rolls to boost your stats, expect the sequel to be playable on PC in August 2014.
