This week's gig guide features the likes of Sleep Party People, The Soft Moon, First Aid Kit, Menomena and loads more.

The Soft Moon: Green Door Store, Brighton 28/11/12

The Soft Moon's recently released second long-player, Zeros, is a dark and hypnotic but wholly brilliant affair, characterised by tense, whispered vocals riding waves of industrial drums and anxious, jittery guitar lines. For Wednesday's gig at The Green Door Store, expect a moody atmosphere and to be blown away by the intensity of The Soft Moon's uncompromising live show.

Sleep Party People: Scandic Grand Central, Stockholm 27/11/12

The Danish act Sleep Party People, the project of Brian Batz, released its debut LP We Were Drifting On A Sad Song earlier this year, and it’s a good one. On Tuesday the 27th they're finally coming to Scandic Grand Central in Stockholm and it's free entry.

Free entry, details here. Gig chosen by Johan Alm.

First Aid Kit: O2 Academy, Bristol 27/11/12

Swedish folk duo who have had a pretty successful 2012. Sophomore album The Lion's Roar was very well received, and rightfully so. It seems highly unlikely that Conor Oberst will make an appearance as he did on the album, but that shouldn't dishearten you from shuffling on down to Frogmore Street and enjoying the wonderful sounds of Johanna and Klara.
