It seems Best Buy hasn’t finished fixing its leak, as it recently listed Yoshi's Land for release on the Wii U console.

Retailing at $59.99 with no box art, Best Buy’s synopsis of the title reads: “Join everyone’s favorite dinosaur in his first big starring role on Nintendo Wii U – Yoshi Land. Utilize the power of the Wii U Touchscreen GamePad to enjoy dual-screen fun in this epic adventure with stunning HD graphics and connectivity with MiiVerse.”

Last week, an unsuspecting user accidentally stumbled upon a debug menu in the Wii U’s new Miiverse detailing a number of proposed future release titles - one of the titles that was prominently featured was Yoshi’s Land Wii U. Nintendo was quick to dismiss this menu simply as a “mock-up menu” and swiftly removed it from existence.

Although the game has yet to be confirmed by Nintendo, with the recent leak and confirmation of the Wii Mini by Best Buy, many are now suspecting that the validity of this title’s existence is indeed genuine. If this is the case, we could possibly be seeing other titles that were listed on the Wii U’s mock-up menu such as Final Fantasy 3, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil, Dragon Quest 10 and Metroid to name but a few.

The most recent Yoshi adventure took place in 2006’s Yoshi’s Island DS, the sequel to the 1995 SNES game Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island. As the prefix of this title has been firmly themed around “island” for its past few incarnations, the possibility of Yoshi finally upgrading to “Land” could see the little chirpy green dragon/dinosaur-thing finally feature in a full fledged game of the same caliber and gravitas of a regular Mario game.

Would you welcome a confirmation of Yoshi’s Land on the Wii U? What other titles would you like to see either released or remade in future from Nintendo?
