It's the age-old story. Well, age-old in Internet years at least.

Human gets laptop. Human makes some music via said laptop. Human distributes music online. Other humans like this music a lot. Original human becomes an artist, distributes music via a label, tours world. Humans in different countries who enjoyed this music online see the talented human in person.

One night at Koko at the start of the summer, a line-up personified this spirit as hosted by forward-thinking cultural entity The Playground - so the 405 thought it a good idea to discuss matters with the artists in question that have undergone - or are undergoing - through this journey.

We chatted to XXYYXX, Blackbird Blackbird, Mt. Wolf and Salva, all based thousands of miles from each other but all together under the same roof, where we discussed genre terms and and if there are any ties to one another in terms production values and influences. Watch out for live footage from Slow Magic and XXYYXX also.

You can watch the documentary below, or via our TV Section. It's also available via our Youtube page (please watch in HD when possible).
