23-year-old Espa is a multi-influenced artist who has previously worked with the likes of Balistiq and the Flatbush Zombies. As a newcomer to the solo scene she is breaking boundaries with her latest release, 'Apartment 2F', a R&B and pop infused track taken from her forthcoming debut, 150th and Broadway.

Today, the songstress give us five things you need to know about her debut… peep them below and keep your eyes peeled for its release on October 6th.

1. The artwork concept is an original idea of my own but little did we know it would take nearly 7 hours to create the hair & make-up.

2. It's called 150th and Broadway because it's a reference to a point where great change occurred in my life.

3. The EP is a collaboration of stories about life and change. Life's little adventures!

4. When I turned up to the studio to meet Erik from Flatbush Zombies he said he didn't know if I was going to be male or female, white or black.

5. The EP has 4 tracks – half NYC production, half LDN production – which makes most sense as I wrote half of it there and half of it here and they are my two favourite cities!
