He'll take you to the candy shop, allegedly physically abuse you, and then deny the charges. According to the Los Angeles Times, 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson) could be looking at five years in jail and a $46,000 fine following an incident with his ex-partner, who is also the mother of his child.

The incident is said to have occurred last month, including five charges: one count of domestic violence and four of vandalism against the victim's property. Billboard have reported that the rapper kicked open the bedroom door and kicked his ex-partner, injuring her. Apparently he also caused $7,100 worth of damage to the Los Angeles condo.

The case's arraignment will take place July 22 (that's the bit where they read out the charges and the defendant, in this case Fiddy, enters a plea). 50 Cent's lawyer has said that he denies the claims and will fight to prove his innocence. No word yet on what this means for the already delayed album Street King Immortal, which is due out later this year.
