Currently touring the UK to promote his 2012 debut album Dyrd í dauðathogn (he plays a sold-out show at London's Bush Hall this evening), Icelandic artist Ásgeir has announced he'll be performing a headline gig next April 8th at London's Union Chapel.

The show will follow the English language version of his debut album, In The Silence, that is set to hit the shelves on January 27th; Dyrd í dauðathogn was released by One Little Indian (also Björk’s label) and broke numerous records, becoming Iceland's fastest and biggest selling debut album by a home grown artist (it's estimated that one in ten of the Icelandic population now own the album).
