During his performance at Jay Z's Made in America Fest last year, it emerged that A$AP Rocky had been charged with assault after apparently slapping a female fan. The fan – Lisamarie Wade – did initially file a criminal complaint against the rapper, who avoided the charges against him.

TMZ has now reported that Wade is suing the rapper for damages of at least $75,000. In her filed documents, Wade has commented that the incident has resulted in her developing ailments that are preventing her from"“enjoy[ing] society with her minor child as a young, single mother."

Wade has also pointed out in her case that Rocky has been previously noted for similar incidents, including apparently slapping a fan at a performance in Sydney, Australia before his appearance at Made in America Fest. Earlier in the year, the rapper was also named in a similar lawsuit by another female fan injured at a performance at Chicago's House of Blues.
