The cause of A$AP Mob founder A$AP Yams' death has been revealed as "accidental drug intoxication."

New York City's Chief Medical Examiner has now determined that Yams' death was "an accident caused by acute mixed drug intoxication (inc. opiates & benzodiazepine)." Yams was found unresponsive in the early morning of January 28 before being taken to Woodhull Medical Center in Brooklyn, where he was pronounced dead. He was 26.

Born Steven Rodriguez, A$AP Yams was instrumental in birthing the careers of A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg and the A$AP Mob which he formed in 2007 with A$AP Bari and A$AP Illz.
