A rapper's Instagram photos have lead to New York's largest ever gun bust, accumulating 254 firearms.

Matthew Best, aka Neno Best, posted photos and videos of guns and large amounts of money on the photo sharing site, claiming he was selling weapons from his Ocean Hill recording studio, according to the New York Daily News. While most of the posts were removed, the New York Police Department investigators passed the details to undercover officers. An NYPD investigator uncovered a multi-state gun trafficking ring.

Best and a friend, Omole Adedji, were selling guns at three times the price they brought them, from gun runners Walter Walker of North Carolina and Earl Campbell of South Carolina. 36 of the guns had previously been reported as stolen. Best, Adedji, Walker, and Campbell are among the 19 charged with the indictment. [via The Verge]
