When Morrissey performed at Riot Fest in Chicago, vendors stopped selling meat in order to honour and respect Morrissey's ongoing animal rights activism. But one food vendor wasn't so understanding. Not only did Chicago's Puffs of Doom serve meat but he named a meat sandwich after the singer, which he titled and put on the menu as Pork Morrissey.

It was a grilled cheese sandwich filled with three different types of cheese, bacon ranch macaroni and cheese, bourbon BBQ pulled pork, and it’s topped with pimento cheese. And it looks like the vendor is going to continue selling the sandwich going forward.

"It bullied these little businesses that are already having a hard time hacking it. What it doesn't do is actually change anything," Puffs of Doom co-owner Luke Petillon said in an interview about Riot Fest's decision to urge vendors in going meat-free.
