Earlier today, DJ Statik Selektah brought out a previously unearthed track he produced alongside Ab-Soul on Showoff Radio. The brand new cut, 'To The Max', was actually produced by Statik Selektah, who worked with the Black Hippy alum on his recently released These Days ... LP.

The track was a direct tribute to Max B, a name which hip heads may be very familiar with. As well as earning frequent name drops from established figures like Joey Bada$$ on his 1999 cut 'Snakes', Max B became a sort of cult-of-personality hero among New York City. The Harlem rapper was sentenced to 75 years in prison for a 2006 robbery-turned-murder, along with eight separate charges. The story, however, is reportedly sketchy.

During the Showoff Radio showcase, in which Ab-Soul was also on, Selektah brought out the aforementioned track as an actual surprise. Delighted, Ab-Soul notes, "Oh my God, that should be amazing!" Listen below.
