Adam Green has to be one of the most diversely talented artists working today. Exhibitions, films (including an adaptation of Aladdin featuring Alia Shawkat and Macaulay Culkin) and a string of solo releases have followed his time in The Moldy Peaches. Green is now releasing new music for the first time in a few years as he preps the release of Engine Of Paradise. To tease the new record, Green is sharing 'Freeze My Love,' an eclectic, charming new single that tickles the brain and warms the heart.

Featuring some lovely, glistening guitar and spectacular orchestral swells, Green spins a fantastical yarn about how he has to "freeze my love because technology as changed me." The lyrics are surreal, passingly apocalyptic and, somehow, also quite lovely. It is a bizarre mix, but Green, in his typical fashion, makes it work.

"'Freeze My Love' is like a road trip song where your Corvette is a JPG filled with flesh cruising towards a blockchain horizon," says Green. "I think it's a pretty song, I wish there was a radio station that played it continuously."

Green is also planning to release a new graphic novel, "War and Paradise," concurrently with the new album. The graphic novel is meant to explore some of the same themes as the upcoming album. Green says that the video for 'Freeze My Love' features papier-mâché statutes of characters from the book.
