With his remix of 'Hands', Melbourne-based club DJ/producer Air Max '97 expands the darker musical impulses present within Australian future R&B artist Oscar Key Sung's original version, in the process taking them into a dusty, dirty and post-apocalyptic locale.

Kicking things off with some simple percussive rolls and Oscar's heartfelt croon, Air Max '97 dreams up a dystopian soundworld populated by hulking synth stabs, hyper-frantic chant loops, urgent dubby rhythmscapes, chipmunked vocals and a smattering of bleepy surveillance scanner melodics. If they ever set up a proper nightclub scene in a Mad Max movie, they need to invite these guys to perform in it.
