Are you a fan of ripping guitar, stomping drums, deliriously fun vocal harmonies and a vibe that makes you feel like you’ve been transported to a sweaty punk club circa 1974 (back when cheap beer was so cheap, it was actually free)? If so, Dirty Fences, the self-proclaimed “hardest working band in New York City,” and their third album, Goodbye Love are here for you.

Goodbye Love follows 2013’s Too High to Kross and 2015’s Full Tramp. It’s full of eager exuberance and exhilaration that makes you long for the thrill of teenagedom - anxieties and all. Closing the album is ‘One More Step’, a rather touching duet with Sheer Mag’s Christina Halladay. Though reminiscent of punk and rock forebearers like The Ramones, MC5, and Mötley Crüe, Dirty Fences demonstrate a craft beyond Xeroxing their influences. After all, it takes a lot of hard to work to feel this loose and charismatic.

Goodbye Love is out this Friday, on Greenway Records. Stream it below and pre-order it here. Dirty Fences are also touring Europe, followed by a record release show in Brooklyn.
